Dry Well

 

A Dry Well is a basically what it says, it's a well. It is a hole in the ground, typically filled with some type of gravel or stone.  A drain pipe is attached to the dry well and allows water to enter the dry well and disperse underground.  This type of draining system is often used with one of the other types as a discharge.
